Patient Care

Your team at The Oncology Practice is experienced and trained to ensure that personalised and professional care  is provided.

Always on standby for you, simply WhatsApp us for non-urgent patient enquiries.

24-48 hours after your treatment, we will reach out to you to ensure we have covered all your questions in mind, and to provide guidance to your family and caregivers if there are post-treatment questions.

Care is more than just a word. We are here with you every step of the way.

At The Oncology Practice, we strive to provide a holistic approach to support you in cancer management. Our Integrated Care Programme is designed to help address pertinent concerns that you may face from diagnosis, through to treatment and beyond:

  1. Discuss issues and concerns in a safe and supportive environment.
  2.  Build resilience and resources to maintain a meaningful lifestyle.
  3. Promote communications and bonding.

Anxiety affects individuals in different ways. It is therefore important to learn to recognise the common symptoms as listed below:

  • I cannot stop worrying.
  • I keep thinking that something bad will happen to me, my family and friends.
  • I worry so much that I have problems sleeping.
  • I cannot seem to relax.
  • I cannot concentrate on my tasks at hand.
  • I am easily irritated and feel tired all the time.
  • I tremble and have sweaty palms.
  • I suffer from frequent headaches.
  • I feel so frightened that I keep panting.
  • I feel so tensed that I experience twitching of muscles and a tingling sensation.

If you experience most of the above symptoms for six months or more, you may be suffering from excessive anxiety.
